DESCRIPTION
The CCVBA/ECVBA series are self-contained air to air heat pumps of vertical construction, suitable to be adapted to an air duct distribution system on both indoor and outdoor sides. Units are supplied totally finished, ready to be installed on site (with duct system, electric supply and controller). The equipment is delivered with the adequate refrigerant charge for proper operation.

CABINET
Cabinet is made of galvanized steel sheet, finished with polyester powder, electrostatically applied and oven-polymerized of optimum resistance to corrosion. The assembly is internally lined with thermoacoustic insulation.

REFRIGERANT CIRCUIT
Made of high grade refrigerant copper tubing, clean and dehydrated, incorporating filter dryer and Schrader Valves to allow easy access during verification and charge. The suction accumulator ensures the return of oil and protects the compressor from liquid flooding .

HERMETIC COMPRESSOR
Compressors used have been specially conceived for Heat Pump applications, therefore allowing wide operating limits.
Equipped with internal thermal protection -any other additional protection is not needed-, they incorporate internal shock-absorbing systems mounted on the base with anti-vibration supports.
Lubricant oil -resistant to high temperatures- and crankcase heater are included.
From model 401 onwards, compressors are SCROLL.

HEAT EXCHANGERS
Coils are made of aluminium fins and 3/8" copper tubing, mechanically expanded, of high exchanging efficiency.

FANS
Centrifugal fans of double suction that allow for duct application. Both indoor and outdoor sections are equipped with one fan from model 351 up to 801; rest of models, two fans. Driven by three phase motor 230 or 400.3.50 except model 351 (single phase 230.1.50), transmission is made through pulleys and belt for airflow/static pressure regulation (model 351 is direct drive). Fans are of reduced sound power level, incorporate pre-lubricated bearings and are static and dynamically balanced.

EXPANSION DEVICE
Indoor section:
- 351 - 501 restrictors
- 701 - 3502 expansion valves
Outdoor section:
- 351 - 501 restrictors
701 - 3502 capillaries

AIR FILTERS
Washable polyurethane foam of 10mm thickness, S-20 highefficiency filtering.

OPERATE AND CONTROL EQUIPMENT
Room thermostat 24V ac.
Transformer with 24V outlet for relay operating system. Contactors for activating compressor, ventilation and auxiliary control motors.
Heat protectors for three-phase fan motors. High pressure pressostat (manual reset) and low pressure pressostat (automatic reset). Reversing valve, solenoid operated 230V.
Time delay, anticycle protection. Defrost system based on periods of time and temperature of outdoor coil. Main circuit breaker.
