Description
The WPHZ, WPHBZ series are ductable, horizontal selfcontained airconditioners and self-contained water to air heat pumps with brazed plate water cooled condenser or refrigerant/water heat exchanger. One or two circuits depending on models.

Casing
Made of high quality steel plate, fi nished with electrostatically applied and oven polymerized polyester powder. The assembly is internally thermo-acoustically insulated.

Refrigerant Circuit
Made of refrigerant grade copper tubing, perfectly cleansed and dehydrated, it incorporates Schrader Valves for easy access, vacuum process, refrigerant charging and maintenance. Brazing is made in inert atmosphere with silver alloy soldering. Heat pumps include liquid receiver, four-way valve Solenoid
operated and check valves.

Compressors
Compressors are rotary, scroll or reciprocating depending upon models. The compressors are mounted on the unit base by means of vibration absorbers and they include oil charge, inherent internal protection and crankcase heater.

Evaporator Coil
Made of aluminium fins and copper tubing mechanically expanded.

Heat exchanger
It is a brazed steel plate heat exchanger, water cooled (refrigerant/ water heat exchanger). For applications with Dry cooler.

Fans
Centrifugal, double suction. Fans are direct-driven through incorporated motor or through external motor and transmission through pulleys and belt.

Expansion device
Expansion valve or calibrated orifi ce (restrictor) depending upon models. On heat pump units, outdoor side uses restrictor.

Refrigerant
Units are delivered with complete refrigerant R407c operating charge.

Air fi lter
Made of polyurethane foam, effi ciency G2 (EU2), washable, self-extinguishable, class M1.

Electric panel
It includes contactors for compressors and fan motors. Unit is monitored by a PC board controlling all the functions. Control system is a wired wall-mounted controller featuring the usual functions: ventilation, cooling or heating in one-two stages, etc.
